Need an Auto Electrician to repair, service or replace the overheating problems on your car?
About the overheating problems on your car
If your car’s Overheating or Temperature Gauge is higher than ‘normal’ on the dashboard you should have your car checked as soon as possible. The temperature gauge provides an indication of the engine temperature level. If the engine is operating too hot and is left unattended this may cause serious and expensive damage to the engine and other car components or cause you to be stranded on the side of the road.
GOOD TIP:
If the temperature rises to high while you are driving, try to pull over to a safe place or a service station as soon as possible. Before checking whether the increase in temperature is due to a lack of coolant in the cooling system, the car engine must have cooled down. Open the bonnet to allow airflow to help cool down the engine. Do not pour cold water directly on to a hot engine.
The cause of overheating or a high temperature may be due to the cooling system not generating enough airflow, lacking sufficient coolant flow or liquid, it may have a blockage, a leakage, a malfunctioning pump, temperature sensor or thermostat or an electrical fault.
